GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

The Pre-primary section of our school celebrated  Grandparents Day  with great joy and warmth on Saturday, 28th June 2025. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights of our families—our beloved grandparents. The day began with a cheerful welcome, where teachers greeted the grandparents with bright smiles and lovingly pinned  colourful handmade badges  on them. As the guests settled in, melodious tunes like Dada Dadi welcome to our school  played in the background, creating a nostalgic and joyful atmosphere. The celebration commenced with a  traditional lamp lighting ceremony , where all the grandparents participated, symbolizing the light of love and wisdom they bring into our lives.To break the ice and add a fun touch, the first activity of the day was the  Ice Breaker Game , where grandparents introduced themselves to each other, sharing laughter and stories as they connected with new friends. This was followed by engaging games like  Musical Chairs  and a lively round of  Karaoke , where grandparents participated enthusiastically, reminiscing their golden days with classic songs and cheerful competition. An  Open Stage segment  was a delightful highlight—grandparents came forward to share their talents. Some sang melodious songs, others recited poetry, dialogues, and devotional  bhajans , touching everyone's hearts. Another exciting game,  Find Your Family , had grandparents grouped into four teams. Each team used origami paper to create unique craft items , showcasing creativity, teamwork, and childlike enthusiasm. Adding a special touch to the event, our little stars performed heartfelt songs like “I Love You Grandpa” and  “I Love You Grandma” , filling the hall with love and pride. The celebration concluded on a high note with a  grand dance session . Grandparents, teachers, and children all joined together on the dance floor, dancing with joy and creating unforgettable memories. The entire event was filled with laughter, love, and togetherness. Grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the celebration, and their radiant smiles said it all Indeed, it was a day of joy, bonding, and celebration—an expression of gratitude and love towards our treasured grandparents.
